Tees, Timeline and Teamwork: A Day of Purpose at the SVI Charity Golf Day 2025
"It’s not just about the golf—it’s about coming together for a purpose bigger than ourselves."
That sentiment captured the spirit of this year’s SVI Charity Golf Day, held at Kew Golf Club. Once again, Elephant in the Boardroom was proud to be a silver sponsor at this year’s SVI Charity Golf Day. The 16th annual event, themed “Tees, Timeline and Teamwork,” brought together over 120 players, including partners, clients, friends, and some of SVI’s leading researchers, all in support of cutting-edge medical research.

The day was filled with camaraderie, laughter, and friendly competition on the green, while raising over $110,000 for the life-changing work taking place at SVI. From cricket legend Damien Fleming to comedian Peter Helliar, attendees enjoyed a vibrant mix of personalities, making the event as much about connection as it was about charity.
EITB was delighted to be part of the action, sharing the day with some of our amazing partners, clients, and friends who joined us on the course. Between friendly banter, great shots (and a few that didn’t quite make the fairway), it was the perfect reminder that teamwork truly extends beyond the workplace. The energy throughout the day reflected the spirit of collaboration that drives both our industry and the SVI community.

As SVI Chair Michael Burn shared, the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved are what make events like this so meaningful. It’s not just about the game. It’s about the ripple effect of coming together to support research that changes lives.
A huge congratulations to the Golf Day Committee, the volunteers, and every participant who made this year’s event such a success. The theme “Tees, Timeline and Teamwork” couldn’t have been more fitting—it was a day that celebrated connection, purpose, and a shared drive to make a difference.
